The rotation speed of ball grinder directly decides the rotation condition of the grinding media and the effect of the grinding work. When the rotation speed is low, the grinding media in the ball grinding mill will be elevated to the lower location. When the grinding media fall down because of the gravity of itself, the impact force of the ball is small and the grinding effect is strong. Then the ore will be grinded and the grinding effect is not good. When the rotation speed is high, and the grinding media will be elevated to a higher location. When the ball rose to a certain height, it will out of the barrel and fall down along a parabolic trajectory. The ball at the toss placement will have the bigger impact force. The ore will be crushed through the crush force. Then the grinding effect is the best. When the rotation speed has exceeds a certain limit, the balls in the grinding chamber will keep the rotation condition and won’t fall down. The grinding media will keep the centrifugal state. The balls have no impact force and the grind effect is little.
